Fees & Payments

The professional fee for this comprehensive assessment and diagnostic service is calculated to reflect the formal advanced training, clinical experience and expertise of the Psychologist.  The clinical services are charged on a flat-fee formula. The flat fee includes a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, therapeutic recommendations, if warranted, and written report.

At this time, it is understood that this psychological service [Memory Evaluation] is not covered under the provincial Medical Services Insurance program [MSI]. For clients referred by a recognized agency, the agency will be billed directly. Receipt of written authorization for billing is required. For clients who are referred by a healthcare professional, or self-referred, the Client is responsible for full payment of the Psychological Services.

After Full payment is made to the clinic, an Official Receipt will be issued to the client. Clients with a private health insurance plan may wish to submit the Official Receipt to their insurer, requesting full or partial reimbursement for the psychological services. Insurance coverage for psychological services will depend on the client’s individual insurance plan. Securing fee reimbursement is a direct transaction between the Client and the insurer.

Note: Clients planning to submit a reimbursement claim to their private insurer may wish to determine, in advance of the appointment, the amount of coverage, and if there are conditions of referral [e.g., require a physician's written referral].
