Purpose

We all get distracted; we all forget things. However, when inattention or forgetfulness become routine, and interfere with our work or personal life, a formal evaluation may be worth considering. The purpose of a formal Memory Evaluation is to determine whether your experience of poor memory is simply transient, due to psychological factors [e.g., stress, anxiety, depression] or whether it may be attributable to other neurocognitive factors. A formal memory evaluation will document the pattern and severity of your memory challenge and guide the formulation of treatment strategies to improve memory.
