Referral

Referrals are accepted from healthcare professionals, or agencies, on behalf of a client.

Adults will be referred for a Neuropsychological Evaluation for a variety of reasons. These include, but are not limited to:

 

 

  • Clients who have experienced a concussion, head trauma, brain tumor, stroke, seizure, or other neurologic event, including neurosurgery.
  • Clients diagnosed with, or suspected of having, a neurological condition such as Dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease, Neuromuscular Disorder with Neurocognitive ImpairmentSpecific Memory Disorder, amongst others.
  • Clients without a known neurological event or illness affecting brain function, but for whom persistent changes in concentration, language comprehension, memory, decision making, personality or behavior have been observed [e.g., complex psychiatric-psychologic disorder, PTSD].
