Fees & Payments

The professional fee for the Neuropsychological Evaluation is calculated to reflect the formal advanced professional training, clinical experience and expertise of the psychologist providing the clinical service.  The Neuropsychological Evaluation is charged on a flat-fee formula. The flat fee includes a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic recommendations, as warranted, and written report.

The neuropsychological evaluation is a private clinical service. If the client is referred by an agency, the agency is responsible for full payment, confirmed in writing, in advance of the first appointment. The agency will be directly billed. If the client is self-referred or referred by a healthcare professional, the client is responsible for full payment for the neuropsychological evaluation at the time of the first clinic appointment, for which an Official Receipt is issued.

Clients who are self-referred or referred by a healthcare professional, who have a private health insurance plan, may wish to submit the Official Receipt to their insurance company, requesting full or partial reimbursement for the psychological services rendered. Insurance coverage for psychological services will vary depending on the individual’s insurance policy. Fee reimbursement is a direct transaction between the client and insurance company, and not the clinic.

Note: Clients who are self-referred or referred by a healthcare professional and intending to submit a claim to their private insurer, may wish to determine, in advance of the first appointment, the amount of coverage available under your policy and any conditions of reimbursement [e.g., may require written referral from a physician].
