Preparation

Neuropsychological Evaluation is a lengthy procedure, involving approximately 12 hours of direct client evaluation. Typically, the evaluation is conducted over four, 3-hour clinic appointments. However, the evaluation may be modified to accommodate unique client needs. In preparing for the Neuropsychological Evaluation, the client should: a) get a good night sleep. If travelling a long distance, securing overnight accommodation is recommended; b) if applicable, take your medications, and give a list of your medications to give the neuropsychologist; and c) if applicable, wear your prescribed corrective lens [contacts, glasses] or hearing aids.
